Florida Laser Hair Removal - A New You

Florida is the state of sunshine, sandy beaches, warm sun, and lots of skin! Without doubt, Florida is a gorgeous and fun place to live or visit. As you walk along the beaches, you will commonly see beautifully toned bodies, silky legs, smooth backs, and chests - not by accident mind you! Because spending time on the beach is a favorite pastime, no one wants excess hair. For this reason, Florida hair laser removal clinics are serious business. Hair laser removal has a fascinating history that actually began in the 1960s. During that time, the possibility of having hair removed without daily shaving was exciting and new. Unfortunately, the trend hit so hard that safety factors associated with laser used were not much of a concern. It was soon discovered that for hair laser removal to be successful and safe, changes had to be made. When first invented, laser hair techniques used devices that emitted one continuous wave but over time, researchers found this approach to be very unpractical since the laser beam could not be properly controlled. The result was that skin tissue was damaged. To correct the problem, a special shutter in a camera was developed called the Q switch. However, by the end of the 1960s, a small fiber optic probe was developed that could focus on specific hair follicles. The problem was that this type of laser hair removal system was marketed as being “permanent”, which is untrue. Today, when you visit a Florida hair laser removal clinic, you will find new technologies and state-of-the-art equipment that provides a comfortable experience. Although laser hair removal is not permanent, more of a reduction of hair growth and density, and the treatments can be a little on the uncomfortable side, the process is not bad. However, you definitely want to choose a Florida hair laser removal clinic that offers consultation so you can understand the processes and equipment used. Once you locate the right Florida hair laser removal clinic that is right for you, just consider all the advantages. For example, when hair grows back in, it is usually lighter in color and with a finer texture. Additionally, this procedure is quick, convenient, and when performed by a professional, safe. Keep in mind that people with light skin and dark hair typically have the best results. If you are a dark-skinned person, make sure you work with someone skilled in dealing with dark skin in that it is more challenging. Just as you will find many advantages with a Florida hair laser removal clinic, some disadvantages also exist. For example, laser treatments are expensive. In addition, if laser treatments are not performed properly or if a person has too much exposure to laser lights, lesions, burns, and skin discoloration are possibilities. Then, you have some potential for hair regrowth to be patterned or patchy, which is unsightly. You will even find a Florida hair laser removal clinic offer services that can be performed in a matter of minutes. For the right equipment, this means having hair removed during lunch, opposed to spending hours for a procedure. The one thing to remember is that firm data on how long hair reduction lasts or occurs is still not confirmed. Even so, considering this procedure is relatively safe and results excellent, laser hair removal will continue to be a popular choice for men and women.

Find out why you truly need to undergo multiple Laser Hair Removal sessions

Laser Hair Removal is now one of the most common ways to get rid of unwanted hair, and done right, can definitely provide permanent hair removal. But the capability of Laser Hair Removal is reliant upon numerous points, encompassing (i) the variety of laser being used, (ii) the color of your hair, (iii) the color / type of your skin and (iv) the stage of the hair in the hair growth cycle.
There are 5 different types of lasers that are currently used to remove hair. The best laser type for you will depend on the combination of you hair color and skin type. And even if you get it all correct, you still may not end up with permanent hair removal in the short term. You see, the answer lies in the hair growth cycle, and more specifically, what phase of the cycle your problem hair is in…. sounds confusing - it is !
Before we come to know the hair growth cycle, it is critical to comprehend just how Laser Hair Removal really works. That is, to appreciate precisely how you can accomplish permanent hair removal, getting knowledge of the laser process is critical.
Laser Hair Removal does not instantly remove the hair, nor does it burn it off right away. The energy from the laser literally travels through the skin, and is drawn in by the pigment in the hair follicle and shaft. When this energy is absorbed into a hair, the follicles are damaged, which then impairs that particular hairs ability to grow. Eventually the hair will fall out, usually within a matter of weeks.
Getting knowledge of how the laser operates is essential. You need to always remember that the laser does not just make the hair fall out instantly. It actually impairs the capability of a hair to grow, causing it to eventually fall out. Now that we have a brief understanding of how the laser operates, it is time to get an insight into how the hair growth cycle relates to the permanency of laser hair removal.
The stage of the hair in the growth cycle will ultimately determine if the hair removal will be permanent, or if another treatment will be required. You see, the hair growth cycle encompasses three stages, and the permanency of Laser Hair Removal is more probable when the hair is in one stage particularly - the growth stage.
There are 3 stage to the hair growth cycle: (1) Active/Anagen (2) Regressive/Catagen (3) Resting/Telogen. Laser hair removal is more effectual in the Anagen stage where the hair contains the most pigment, and is most affected by the laser light. If the laser treatment is applied when the hair is in either of the 2 other phases, then the likeliness of permanent hair removal is less.
Although hair is primarily the same thing from person to person, the way an individual’s hair grows is so unique, owing to many factors including: weight, metabolism, age, genetics and environmental conditions. However, in despite of how these factors affect individual hair growth, hair itself grows through three clear-cut phases:
1. The ACTIVE or ANAGEN growth phase, comprises approximately 85 % of our body hair at any given moment in time and can last up to several years. During this stage, the hair shaft and follicle has an accumulation of pigment and is most affected by the laser light.
2. The REGRESSIVE or CATAGEN phase is the period during which the hair ceases to grow but is not yet shed. This phase often lasts several weeks comprising about 3 - 4% of our total body hair at any given moment in time. The laser will work in this stage, but if it is late in this part of the cycle, a new hair might already be coming through and the new hair will not be affected by the laser.
3. The RESTING or TELOGEN phase lasts 5 - 6 weeks, at the end of which the hair falls out and the new hair appears. The new hair may not be affected by the laser because it will not have pigment in it yet, remembering that the laser actually relies on the pigment to find the hair. Approximately 10-13% of our body hair is in this phase at any one time.
Understanding the growth cycle of hair leads to the million dollar question, “Is permanent hair removal possible?” The answer is Yes, Laser Hair Removal can absolutely provide a level of permanence. As you can see, if a hair in the Active/Anagen stage is subjected to the laser, then that hair will most likely be killed permanently. If a hair that is in either of the other 2 stages is exposed to the laser, then that hair will most likely be killed, but the new hair coming through will still continue to grow.
So the tip on Laser Hair Removal is that you will most likely require a few sessions to ensure that your unwanted hair is removed permanently. You could be lucky - your first Laser hair removal session will permanently remove all of your problem hair, but the likelihood is that you will need multiple sessions at set intervals to ensure that you get to the hair when it is in the first stage of growth. And that is all there really is to know, permanent Laser Hair Removal is definitely possible !

The solution to leg hair removal has now troubled women for nearly 100 years. The earliest methods were brutal and painful. Over the years the processes involved have been refined but still there is room for improvement.
The shinepil is one of those new treatments and will soon enter the market. It’s aim is to replace outdated forms of hair removal. The old methods include the use of wax.
Every woman has at some potint heated up wax and then applied it to the parts of the body that they want to remove hair from and been filled with dread. The thought of ripping off the attached cloth with the wax attached and ripping out the hair from the roots still makes the eyes water. It is still a very painful method.
The newer methods include shaving the legs but even with triple blades and protection guards the overall effect cans till be itchy and leave the skin dry. The isn’t really an ideal solution to this old age problem.
The shinepil will use laser hair removal. The laser works by a principle called selective photothermolysis. The laser is pulsed (turned on) for a millisecond emitting a beam of light on to the skin. The laser system is intended for everlasting hair reduction emits wavelengths of light calculated to be absorbed by the pigment in the hair (melanin). If the surrounding skin is relatively light compared to the color of the hair, then the entire energy of the laser will be concentrated in the hair shaft, effectively destroying it without affecting the skin or follicle. Hair removal lasers target the dark pigment in the hair.
It can work on any type of skin still but is recommended for lighter skin for the best results. The shinepil is a use at home system that uses laser treatment to remove hair that doesn’t harm the skin or cause any discomfort before or during use when it has been tested under clinical conditions. Electrolysis Hair Removal Tips and Information
Filed under: Laser Hair Removal — steve @ 7:30 pm
by: Ken Harrison
What is Electrolysis Hair Removal? Besides shaving, waxing, and laser hair removal, another method of removing unwanted facial or body hair is through electrolysis hair removal. This technique uses a hair-thin probe called an epilator which is inserted into the hair follicle to deliver an electric charge to the hair’s growth center. After the charge has disrupted the hair’s growth center, the hair can be readily removed with forceps. How Many Electrolysis Hair Removal Treatments are Needed? There is not an exact number of treatments for complete hair removal because each individual will have a different hair growth pattern. Typically treatments are done either once a week or once every other week until there are no signs of growth. A single treatment session normally lasts no more than an hour. Is The Hair Removal Permanent When Using Electrolysis? In most cases the hair removal is successful. However, in some studies 7%-10% of patients do not experience satisfactory results. Is Electrolysis For Hair Removal Painful? Some individuals require a topical anesthetic, especially if they have sensitive skin or a low tolerance for discomfort. Also the coarseness of the hair being removed can affect the procedure and level of discomfort. However, for most patients the process is relatively painless, if not tedious. Electrolysis Hair Removal Versus Laser Hair Removal 1) The process of electrolysis hair removal has been around for more than 100 years so there are more long term studies than for laser hair removal. 2) For laser hair removal, the technology is such that the patient’s skin tone is a factor in how the procedure works. This is not the case for electrolysis. 3) Laser hair removal is usually better at treating large areas — like a man’t back. This is because of the time it would take to remove each individual hair using the electrolysis method. 4) For small areas electrolysis hair removal is often cheaper than using lasers. Always consult with your doctor or dermatologist before considering any hair removal procedure.

Did You Know There Are Authentic Laser Hair Removal Machines And Then There Are The Pretenders?
Filed under: Laser Hair Removal — steve @ 7:00 pm
by: Sia Krebs
Knowing The Difference Could Save You Pain And Skin Damage And Ensure Better Long-Term Results.
If you are looking for laser hair removal, Sydney is well serviced by permanent hair removal and laser clinics. Knowing the one to choose is the challenge.
Long Lasting Hair Removal Without The Negative Side Effects
Many methods have been used over the years to achieve smooth, hair-free skin, however, all have had their difficult, even painful and unsightly, side effects.
Thankfully, scientists and doctors have continued to research ways to improve hair removal.
Enter laser treatment. Safe and reliable, laser hair removal has proven to be the most effective method and is, with care, free from side effects.
Unlike many hair removal alternatives, authentic lasers are safe for any area of the body, even during pregnancy. The specially designed laser penetrates no further than the dermis - the second layer of the skin - so there is never any burning or damage to internal organs, glands or deeper layers of tissue.
What Can Laser Therapy Do For You
The need for permanent hair removal for men and for women may cover a wide range of reasons, from removal of light hair for improved appearance to the removal of thick hair growth that inhibits personal confidence.
Monique found the intense embarrassment caused by her excessive facial hair destroyed her confidence making her a virtual prisoner in her home: “After just one visit to (Sydney clinic) Laser by Sia, I was amazed…My self esteem has risen and I now have the social life I’ve been dreaming of.”
Laser Hair Removal Replaces Waxing In ALL Areas
Laser hair removal is proving itself superior, and far less painful, in the most sensitive of areas and is the preferred method for Brazilian genital hair removal.
Waxing for back hair removal and chest hair removal for men has long been the accepted, painful, method but advanced laser hair therapy has dramatically reduced the discomfort and extended the results.
So Who Are The Pretenders In The Laser Therapy Market?
They are Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Machines, passed off by some clinics as identical to genuine hair removal lasers.
But what is the difference?
Genuine hair removal lasers are devoted to just that one purpose and use only one specific light wavelength. IPL machines use a wide range of wavelengths and can damage skin if used at the higher energy levels causing burning and pain.
Because of the intense focus of genuine lasers, fewer sessions are necessary and each session is much more effective.
Specialists Guarantee Cost-Effective, Safe Results Laser by Sia have performed over 14,000 procedures and are specialists in laser hair removal, promising clients a comfortable, discreet environment. “We only use the authentic FDA approved equipment. Definitely no laser equivalents such as IPL.” Director Sia Krebs says. “Our staff are all highly trained and we use the safest laser equipment and techniques in Australia.
“Lasers are not only fantastic for body hair removal, we also get great results treating areas of excessive pigmentation and sun damage. We love it when clients tell us they not only look younger but feel younger too and the difference it has made to their lives.”

Chicago Hair Laser Removal - Where to Go
Filed under: Laser Hair Removal — steve @ 5:45 pm
by: Dion Semeniuk
The cost to enjoy the benefits associated with hair laser removal would depend largely on where in the country you live, as well as the type of removal you want. For instance, the price for Chicago hair laser removal typically runs about $450 per session. However, many doctors offer packages, which offer more treatments at a discounted price, saving you a little bit of money. If you live in the Chicago area and are interested in hair laser removal, you probably have questions as to where you can go. The most important decision based on any hair laser removal is the doctor. Unfortunately, today we see a growing problem with a number of “cosmetic” procedures. The problem is that people go to schools that will license them after a short training program. That means the individual performing the laser treatment may have no experience. As you can imagine, this scenario is very scary and possibly dangerous. Therefore, we suggest you do your homework, locating at least three professionals who have medical training, licensing, and experience with the hair removal process. You should then go through an in-depth consultation with each, asking many questions and insisting on references. With this, you have a much better chance of enjoying a hairless body for months on end. For Chicago hair laser removal, we have done some of the research for you, providing you with a list of qualified locations to consider. The majority of these clinics have online websites where you can go to learn more about their doctors and the various procedures offered. * Cosmetic Laser Solutions (www.cosmeticlasersolutions.com) - This Chicago hair laser removal clinic is considered a top choice. The most important aspect is that every single procedure, whether for spider veins, varicose veins, Botox, acne removal, or hair removal, is performed by a board certified doctor. In fact, one of the doctors on staff is a leading expert in the Chicago area. These specialists will help you achieve your goal of looking and feeling better while using safe processes and state-of-the-art equipment. * Advanced Laser Clinics (www.advancedlaserinfo.com) - Located in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago, this clinic provides advanced and proven procedures, using only the best techniques. The staff is comprised of certified laser technicians, specialists that work directly under the guidance of a professional doctor. To determine if this is the right Chicago hair laser removal clinic for you, free consultations are available. * Pure Laser (www.purelaser.com) - This clinic is another great possibility with locations around the country. However, for Chicago hair laser removal, you could visit a number of locations, some that include Lincoln Park, Old Orchard, downtown Chicago, Water Tower Place, Hinsdale, and so on. Services offered consist of only the best in proven FDA approved light and laser treatments. Of all privately owned aesthetic companies in the country, Pure Laser is the largest, backed by the most experience.

Atlanta Laser Hair Removal Options
Filed under: Laser Hair Removal — steve @ 4:45 pm
by: Dion Semeniuk
Just imagine being able to go months without having to deal with hair on your legs, finally eliminating unwanted hair on your upper lip, or experiencing a reduction in the growth of hair on your back. With laser hair removal, you can. People around the world are enjoying the benefits of laser treatments, finally looking better and feeling more confident. If you live in the Atlanta area and are interested in a hair-free body, then laser hair removal may be for you. While looking for Atlanta hair laser removal options, it is important you go with a reputable and skilled doctor, not just look for the lowest price. The truth is that hair removal is not cheap. In fact, it is not even permanent. Laws require that clinics and spas use the word “reduction” since hair will grow back. However if the procedure is performed correctly, you would enjoy months of reduced hair growth! The most important aspect of choosing an Atlanta hair laser removal clinic is to do in-depth research before making your final decision. After all, laser hair removal is not for everyone and not all clinics are created equal. For this reason, it is always recommended that you choose three possibilities and then start the elimination process. In addition to asking many questions and requesting references, you could also check with the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) to ensure that any complaints have been resolved. Choosing an Atlanta hair laser removal clinic does not have to be difficult but it is a very important decision. If you found the clinic through some sort of advertisement, possibly from a magazine or newspaper, we recommend you print off a copy and maintain it. Then in the corner, write down the date you printed the document, the time, the name of the magazine or newspaper, and so on. With this, you have a record of not just the advertisement but also everything promised. That way, you have something to stand on if you are quoted a different price, different options, etc. In addition, try to get as much information over the phone as possible with any Atlanta hair laser removal clinic, which will save you time when scheduling consultations. Have a pen and paper handy, taking notes and asking questions. Be direct about what you want to know in which you should receive direct answers. For example, ask about the doctor or technician that would perform the procedure. Does he or she have a license, how many years experience, number of procedures performed, type of laser used, and so on. With this information, you can then use the internet to conduct further research to determine if this clinic is one for consideration. The most important step when choosing an Atlanta hair laser removal clinic is the consultation. Most often, this visit with the doctor or technician is free. During this time, you would have a chance to meet face-to-face with the person that would perform the hair removal procedure. You can tell a lot in a person sitting down in person. Therefore, this consultation time is crucial. Pay attention to the professional’s behavior and mannerisms. Is he or she genuinely concerned or trying to market the services offered? Do you feel comfortable with this person? Has the doctor or technician answered all your questions and provided references? Once you have gone through at least three consultations with different clinics, you can then choose.

Laser Hair Removal - The Facts
Laser Hair Removal has become increasing popular but it is not for everybody. The most basic requirement is that the hair must be darker than the surrounding area of skin. Those with very darkly pigmented skin can absorb too much of the laser energy into the skin and are not recommended to have laser treatment.
